Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was unlettered and whatever revelations he received from Almighty Prophet Muhammad was “From Among their Brethren”. The Prophecy distinctly mentions that the coming prophet, who would be like Moses (pbuh), will arise NOT from the “Children of Israel” or From “Among Themselves”, but from among their Brethren. This is exactly as the Prophecy says – “From among Their Brethren”. Therefore Muhammad (pbuh) is from among the brethren of the Israelites because he was a descendant of Ishmael. The children of Isaac are the brethren of the Ishmaelites. “AND HE (Ishmael) DIED IN THE PRESENCE OF ALL HIS BRETHREN” (Genesis25: 18). “AND HE (Ishmael) SHALL DWELL IN THE PRESENCE OF ALL HIS BRETHREN ((Genesis 16: 12). So the Jews and the Arabs are BRETHREN to each other. The Children of Isaac are the Jews and the Children of Ishmael are Arabs. So the Children of Isaac are BRETHREN to the children of Ishmael. So the Children of one are Brethren to the Children of the other. If Ishmael and Isaac are the Sons of the Same Father Abraham (pbuh), then they are brothers. God grants Abraham (pbuh) another son through Sarah, namely Isaac. Up to the Age of Thirteen Ishmael was the Only Son of Abraham (pbuh), when the covenant was ratified between God and Abraham. “And Ishmael his Son was Thirteen Years Old, when he was circumcised in the Flesh of his Foreskin.” (Genesis 17:25) Hagar Bore Abraham a Son – His First BornĪnd Abraham (pbuh) called his Son’s name, which Hagar Bore, Ishmael (Genesis 16:15) “Īnd Abraham (pbuh) took Ishmael His Son …” (Genesis 17:23) Abraham (pbuh) had two wives – Sarah and Hagar. Holy Bible speaks of Abraham (pbuh) as the “Friend of God”. The Emphasis is on the Words - “From among their brethren.” “I will Raise them up a Prophet From Among Their Brethren like Unto Thee …….” “I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and I will put my words in his mouth and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him”. MUHAMMAD (PBUH) PROPHESISED IN THE BOOK OF DEUTERONOMY:Īlmighty God speaks to Moses in Book of Deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 18: "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not harken unto my words which he shall speak inĤ. When Archangel Gabriel commanded Muhammad (pbuh) by saying Iqra - "Read", he replied, "I am not learned". "And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I
